Shooting at weak spots of bosses in boss battles

Remember in the shoot-em-ups of the old days where players have to shoot at turrets or certain assigned weak spots to bring down the boss? You think you might feature that in Shadowing Hate, where say, we want to bring down a tank? We shoot out the tanks small turrets, before we aim for the big gun. Also, give us a choice of whether we go for the big weak spot or pick off the smaller ones before going to the main ones.

I really like this idea, rather than shoot it 1000 times or find the secret switch to make its guts explode. I like the idea of weak spots that would perhaps only be exposed at certain times, and stuff like that. I'm sure it's possible, even if it means splitting the boss into separate parts, we'll definitely do it if we can.
